“Are there any Spartans left alive?” This question arises from a significant event in the Halo universe. During the events of Halo 5, a tragic incident occurred at Laconia Station, where 76 Spartans lost their lives at the hands of Cortana. To provide context, Laconia Station was a pivotal location during the conflict. At that time, The Infinity, a massive UNSC vessel, had approximately 7,150 troops on board. Regrettably, it appears that, aside from Pablo Schreiber, also known as the Master Chief, no other Spartan emerged as a survivor from the devastating encounter at Laconia Station. This event marked a pivotal moment in the Halo storyline, leaving fans to ponder the fate of the legendary Spartan program.

As of August 8, 2023, the status of surviving Spartan-IIs from the Covenant War can be summarized as follows: Out of the original sixteen Spartans known to have survived the war, the following ten individuals are confirmed to be alive: John-117, Frederic-104, Kelly-087, Linda-058, Naomi-010, Jai-006, Adriana-111, Michael-120, Leon-011, and August-099.
